As a kid I'd always dreamed of owning a Guyver Toy/figurine, sadly they were pretty hard to get hold of in the days before the internet, these days it's alot easyier but still pretty pricey.
Anyway I thought I'd try making my own, with the intent to get it 3D printed...
These vids show the early stages of blocking out the forms, I'm using Zbrush with a combination of Dynamesh and Zremesher (great for fast blocking).
(Above) Low poly mesh I created by retopology of highres sculpt in zbrush, this was then used to continue refining the hard surface (high res sculpt) details as well as generate the final low res character. I then projected detail maps using xnormal.
